Who is Pooka for, and what can they do?
Pooka is a fluffy voice companion for children around ages 5–8. It supports spoken English, Spanish, and Mandarin for conversation, stories, and make-believe at home. It gives multilingual families more opportunities to use their languages during play. It is not a structured language course or a promise of fluency.
How do we get started?
A grown-up helps set up Pooka on home Wi-Fi. Children use its wake word to start talking directly to the toy, without holding a phone or tablet. Parents have a separate app for conversation history, insights, and personalization. Pooka uses AI to generate replies and can make mistakes. A grown-up should stay nearby; keep reading, playing, and talking together as a family.
What’s included, and can I choose a color?
The $99 one-time purchase includes one Black or White Pooka, unlimited conversations over Wi-Fi, access to the parent app, and US shipping. White has brown and yellow accents. Choose the color in the required checkout field. There is no monthly fee. Enter a coupon before paying; applicable tax is shown at checkout. Existing orders retain their original service terms.
What is saved, and what can parents see?
Ainia does not save audio recordings. Conversations are saved as text for history and insights in the parent app. Text history currently has no automatic deletion deadline. The app’s parental-consent flow is planned, and retention and deletion controls still need to be completed before child accounts are activated. When will it arrive, and what if I need a return?
We ship from US stock within 2 business days. Estimated arrival is 3–7 business days after ordering in the contiguous US; Alaska and Hawaii may take longer. Are the video and images recordings of the product?
The images and video are AI-created illustrations of Pooka and example conversations, rather than recordings from the device. The interactive character is artwork. Actual conversations vary.
