1. Conversations and the parent app

Pooka processes spoken input to generate replies. Ainia does not save audio recordings. Conversations are saved as text, which parents can read in the app. Ainia uses those interactions to provide conversation history, insights, and personalization.

Text can contain personal information if a child mentions it. Help your child avoid sharing details such as their address, school, passwords, or information about other people.

Ainia Inc. operates this service. Any external speech, AI, or storage providers used for device conversations, their processing locations, and their retention and model-training settings have not yet been confirmed in this notice. The statement about Ainia’s audio storage is not a separate assurance about every provider’s handling of data.

Text conversation history is currently retained indefinitely, without an automatic deletion deadline. This describes the current practice; it does not mean indefinite retention satisfies children’s privacy requirements. A defined retention schedule and the process for fulfilling parent deletion requests still need to be established.

2. Website visits and cookies

This shopping website is intended for parents and other adult purchasers. The website does not collect a child’s voice or conversations with the toy.

A first-party cookie stores the random browser identifier and assigned page version. It expires after 30 days and may be renewed on later visits. Clearing or blocking the cookie can reset the page assignment; it does not erase records already stored on our servers.

Our measurement records do not contain a child’s name, audio, transcript, payment-card details, email, or shipping address. The identifier is pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous because it can be associated with an order reference. We do not use this website measurement for advertising retargeting. The current site does not load Google Analytics or a Meta advertising pixel.

Preview pages do not set this experiment cookie or record these analytics events. Our hosting infrastructure may separately process request information such as IP addresses and technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website.

3. Checkout, orders, and support

Checkout takes place on Stripe. Stripe collects the payment, contact, and delivery information needed for your order. Ainia uses order information to fulfill purchases, arrange delivery, provide support, and handle returns and refunds. Do not send full payment-card numbers or security codes by email.

When you continue to checkout, we pass a random visit reference and campaign labels to Stripe to attribute purchases to a landing page. If you enter a coupon code on this site, it is passed to Stripe for validation. It is not recorded by our website analytics.

After a payment is verified in Stripe, we can manually record its checkout-session reference, visitor and page reference, payment date, amount, and refund details in our restricted reporting dashboard. This reporting database does not store payment-card details.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any information you include. Send your order number or checkout email for order support. Please avoid sending a child’s private conversations or other sensitive information in an initial request.

4. Providers and access

This list describes the website and checkout; it is not a complete list of providers for the Pooka device or parent app. Access to the website’s reporting dashboard is restricted to the authorized administrator. Provider policies describe their own practices and do not replace Ainia’s responsibilities.

5. Retention and privacy requests

Website analytics and manually recorded order-attribution records remain in our database until Ainia removes them. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for those records. The 30-day browser-cookie expiration does not set a 30-day server-storage limit. Payment and order records may also need to be retained for accounting, disputes, and other legal obligations.

Parents can view their child’s saved text conversations and insights in the app. Parents have rights to review their child’s personal information, request deletion, and refuse further collection or use. Email hello@ainia.ai to make a request. We may need information to verify that the request comes from the parent or authorized account holder.

The operational process and completion timeframe for deleting child accounts, transcripts, derived insights, and any provider copies have not yet been confirmed. Sending a request or removing a browser cookie does not itself delete those records. This notice does not claim that a self-service deletion control is currently available.

You can also contact us about your own website, order, or support information. Privacy rights depend on applicable law; nothing in this notice limits rights you have under that law.

6. Updates to this notice

We will update this page as practices and controls change, with a revised date above. Changes that require direct parental notice or consent must be handled through that process; posting revised terms or a privacy notice is not a substitute.
